The Colorado State University School of the Arts in Fort Collins, Colorado comprises the Department of Art and the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance. The School of the Arts brings together dynamic faculty and committed students in a vibrant learning environment that fosters and supports creativity and growth. The state-of-the-art University Center for the Arts (UCA) , located in the renovated old Fort Collins High School, is an exquisite performance and exhibit venue for music, theatre, dance and art. CSU Summer Theatre Presents Shakespeare at Sunset CSU School of the Arts' traditional summer theatre festival returns with Shakespeare's beloved tale of shenanigans and love. Performed outdoors and set to Purcell's beautiful music, The Fairy Queen, this will be a delightful evening the whole family can enjoy. Show dates are July 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19. Seating begins at 7 p.m. and performances run from 7:30 - 9 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door. Tickets will not be pre-sold for this event; cash or check only please. CSU Music Department, in collaboration with Opera Fort Collins presents the 1925 Broadway Musical No, No, Nanette The fun performance will be directed by students from the Summer Masters in Music Education in Conducting Program. The popular musical, written by Vincent Youmans and Irving Caesar, includes the memorable tunes "Tea for Two" and "I Want to Be Happy" sung by Opera Fort Collins company members, alongside CSU students from the Artist Apprentice Program. Make an Evening of It - Weather permitting, come early and bring a picnic to enjoy in the Annual Trial Flower Gardens or peruse the FREE Andy Warhol exhibits at the University Art Museum. When and Where - Griffin Concert Hall, University Center for the Arts at 1400 Remington Street. Friday, July 24, 7:00 p.m. General admission seating begins at 6:30 p.m. and admission if free.

Chin, an artist and activist, spoke about his new project called OPERATION PAYDIRT/FUNDRED which supports implementing a solution to lead-related health issues challenging post-disaster New Orleans.
